Episode 17: Let there be light!

This week is all about light. We talk with Martha Lenio about what photovoltaic cells mean for the future of solar energy, and why you and your dog may be more similar than you think. Our feature article this week reveals a “modern science miracle,” a chemical called DENAQ that binds to potassium channels in ganglion cells of the eye to restore light sensitivity to mice. As a large percentage of us at Goggles Optional staff are blind as bats we join these mice in exclaiming, “Let there be light!”
