Our feature article this week reveals a “modern science miracle,” a chemical called DENAQ that binds to potassium channels in ganglion cells of the eye to restore light sensitivity to mice. As a large percentage of us at Goggles Optional staff are blind as bats we join these mice in exclaiming, “Let there be light!”
